  • Rules and Regulations
The following rules and regulations apply to the website as a whole. This means anywhere you can post a comment or have interaction with the website. If any of the below regulations are violated action will be taken against your account, punishment will be determined by the type of violation and the level at which you violated it. The consequences laid out are simply an idea of possible punishment. Punishment may be changed at any time according to the desire of the moderator and administrators. (Rules are order by section for easy reference and not by importance. Each rule is as equally as important as the rest.)
    • 1.0 - Spam or other methods of unauthorized advertisement.
Spam is not tolerated whatsoever. Violation of this rule would be posting the same website address in multiple forums or posts. If you wish to make a post about a team or airsoft website you have come across make sure the thread title is the name of the website not a web address. The web address should be included in the body of your post. (Example: Rather than making the thread title http://www.utahairsoft.com I would use "Utah Airsoft Website" then include the actual address in the body of my message.) However, these rules do not apply to your signature. If you wish to advertise your team or website, simply add the web address to your signature. That will include it in every one of your posts, since signatures are unique this is considered an acceptable form of advertisement.
    • 1.1 - Swearing and/or arguing directed toward another user.
Although UtahAirsoft.com has filters to somewhat stop most of the vulgar language, people sometimes use spaces or other characters to get around it. This is not okay, and posts with this sort of action will be edited to the appropriate context. However, maintaining a civilized argument is NOT against the rules, once someone starts degrading the other persons character or putting them down because of a post with the intent to insult, is not accepted.
    • 1.2 - Invalid nicknames
If a user has an invalid nickname or a vulgar nickname, their account will be disabled. There are certain nicknames that are not tolerated. Any nickname that is obviously intended to degrade or make fun of another user would fall into this category. The nickname will remain disabled until the user agrees to a nickname change unless the nickname is of such vulgarity or rudeness that it requires immediate deletion. Violated nicknames will automatically be added to the list of invalid nicknames, and will no longer be allowed. With the happenings of 9-11, and in Iraq, nicknames that propose a threat relative to what has been happening in current events will also be deleted. The government crawls the internet looking for things of that nature and they will not be tolerated on the UtahAirsoft.com forums.
    • 1.3 - Inappropriate content
Inappropriate content should not be posted. This includes any nudity, adult content, or otherwise offensive material. If for some reason anyone of the admins or moderators gets an e-mail concerning a particular attachment to a thread, or signature, that admin/moderator will try to contact the violator and let them know they must remove the offensive content as soon as possible. If they fail to do so, the admin/moderator reserves the right to change, delete, or edit to whatever they see fit until it is no longer offensive.
    • 1.4 – Warning System
We do currently have a warning system in effect here at UtahAirsoft.com. This is essentially an “early warning system”, and allows for you, the user, to see what you did wrong, and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Moderators and/or Admins DO NOT warn you for fun, and will not warn you without a PM explaining why you have been warned. Please keep in mind that excessive warnings can cause your account to be moderated, and temporarily banned.
    • 1.5 – Moderators and Administrators
These people are here to help keep things fun, and informative. If for some reason they have done something to offend you do not post a new thread about how that moderator offended you or what they did wrong, please keep things civilized, and they will work with you. Also, these people are here more importantly to help you. If you see anything wrong, anything that offends you or pretty much anything that you think the staff here at UtahAirsoft.com needs to look into, please let us know immediately.

  • User Agreement

If you do not agree with these terms or need some clarification as to what some of the rules and regulations are, please e-mail siber@utahairsoft.com with the information that you need.
